Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Green Crescent Aid UK to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Green Crescent Aid UK we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Green Crescent Aid UK to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. Green Crescent Aid UK has established the Al Quds Qur’an Hifz Centre in Malawi in 2024. The centre provides 40 children with structured Qur’an memorisation and Islamic studies. It also delivers full secular education so students’ progress academically alongside religious learning.

The Al Quds Qur’an Hifz Centre operates as a boarding school. Staff provide accommodation, daily meals, clothing, shower facilities, laundry services, and access to a sports playground. The programme supports poor children from the rural villages and gives them stability and care throughout their studies.

To date, 11 students have completed full Qur’an memorisation.

We seek your support to continue this work and expand access for more children.

Support options:
• £25 supports the Hifz of one child a month (Zakat applicable)
• £30 sponsors a meal for all students at the centre and includes a personalised dua video on request (Zakat applicable)

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon Him) said:

“The one who recites the Qur’an and memorises it, and acts upon its lawful and unlawful, Allah will admit him into Paradise and grant him the right to intercede for ten of his family members who were destined for Hellfire.”
