If you have made a donation via bank transfer please use this form to submit your consent for us to claim Gift Aid.

What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a UK government scheme to encourage people to participate in charitable giving. If you pay Income or Capital Gains Tax in the UK you are eligible for the scheme.

How does GiftAid Work?

Gift Aid will not cost you or us anything. It simply means that we can claim an additional 25p from the Government for every £1 you donate to our projects.
For example, if you donate £100 to Green Crescent Aid and make a Gift Aid declaration, we will receive an additional £25 in Gift Aid, making your donation worth £125, with no extra cost to you.

Who is eligible for Gift Aid?
You can apply Gift Aid to your donations if:
• you’re a UK taxpayer
• the money or items you’re donating belong to you
• you pay Income or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the amount of Gift Aid all charities will claim on your donations otherwise you will be responsible for paying any difference.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Green Crescent Aid UK to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations and any donations made in the past four years, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Green Crescent Aid UK will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.
